**Job Purpose**

The People Advisor provides expert HR support to managers and employees across the employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent application of employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices. The role focuses on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and supporting organizational change while partnering with leaders to build a positive and high-performing workplace.

**Areas of Responsibility**

-   Manage a broad range of employee relations cases, providing timely, pragmatic, and legally compliant advice to managers and employees.
-   Support managers throughout performance management and probation processes, ensuring fair, consistent, and effective outcomes.
-   Conduct or support workplace investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes in line with company policies and employment legislation.
-   Coach and advise managers on people management matters, including employee relations, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and best HR practices.
-   Prepare and maintain employment documentation, including contracts, letters, disciplinary outcomes, performance documentation, and other employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
-   Ensure HR policies, procedures, and employment practices remain compliant with current employment legislation and internal governance standards.
-   Produce and analyze HR reports and people metrics to support informed decision-making and identify workforce trends.
-   Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, consultations, and change management activities, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.
-   Partner with internal stakeholders to promote a culture of fairness, engagement, and continuous improvement.
-   Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion.

**Requirements**

Essential

-   +2 years of experience in a generalist People Advisory or Employee Relations role.
-   Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
-   Experience managing employee relations cases from initial advice through to resolution.
-   Experience supporting performance management, probation, disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes.
-   Excellent coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
-   Strong written communication skills with experience preparing HR documentation.
-   Analytical skills with experience producing and interpreting HR reports.
-   Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-   High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Desirable

-   CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) or working towards certification.
-   Experience supporting organizational change, restructures, or consultation processes.
-   Experience using HRIS and reporting tools.
-   Experience working in a multi-site or international environment.
