### **Role Overview**

As a **Senior Mechanical Engineer**, you will lead the design, optimization, and validation of advanced mobile mechanical systems used in demanding industrial and oil & gas applications. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on problem‑solving, mechanical creativity, and building equipment that performs reliably in high‑pressure, high‑load, and high‑cycle environments.

This position is **100% on‑site** at our Minneapolis–St. Paul facility. No remote or hybrid work is available.

## Requirements

### **Key Responsibilities**

-   **Design & Development** — Engineer mobile mechanical systems including hydraulic equipment, lifting systems, and field‑service machinery.
-   **Performance Optimization** — Improve reliability, efficiency, and durability for harsh operating conditions.
-   **CAD Modeling** — Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Inventor (preferred), Pro‑E, or SolidWorks.
-   **Prototype & Validation** — Test, refine, and validate equipment to meet API, ASME, and internal quality standards.
-   **Troubleshooting** — Diagnose field issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement.
-   **Cross‑Functional Collaboration** — Work closely with design, manufacturing, and field teams to deliver robust, field‑ready solutions.

### **Qualifications**

-   Bachelor’s degree in **Mechanical Engineering** (Master’s preferred).
-   **5+ years** of mechanical design experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment.
-   Proficiency in **Inventor**, **Pro‑E**, or **SolidWorks**.
-   Strong understanding of **hydraulic systems**, power units, and mechanical assemblies.
-   Proven ability to manage projects from concept through deployment.
-   Excellent communication, documentation, and technical reporting skills.
