# Senior Fullstack Developer (Backend focus)

## Description

We are seeking a **Senior Full-Stack Software Developer** to join the Product Development Team of our client and help build, improve, and maintain AI-enabled product capabilities. This is a **backend-focused role** that also requires strong hands-on experience with **React** and modern web technologies.

You will work closely with the Development Manager, Product Owner, Interaction Design team, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements and user workflows into high-quality, reliable software.

A major focus of the role is **improving code quality**, writing maintainable and well-documented code, testing your own work, and using AI development tools such as **Claude Code** to support implementation and code reviews.

**Key Responsibilities**

-   Design, develop, test, and refine software implementations for a product environment.
-   Build and maintain backend services and APIs using **.NET**, while contributing to the React frontend.
-   Develop AI-enabled capabilities, including LLM-powered features, intelligent workflows, automation, recommendations, and integrations with AI platforms/APIs.
-   Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and unit-testable code.
-   Develop and maintain **unit tests** using Test-Driven Development and other appropriate testing practices.
-   Use **Claude Code** as part of the development workflow, including mandatory Claude-assisted code reviews.
-   Participate in formal code reviews and make improvements based on feedback.
-   Create software implementation designs and technical documentation.
-   Develop architecture documentation, database schema diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, and sequence diagrams.
-   Work with **SQL databases**, including database design and data-related implementation.
-   Participate in planning sessions and provide estimates for development efforts.
-   Demonstrate completed implementations to stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
-   Develop software installation packages for customer workstations and servers when required.
-   Identify opportunities to improve code quality, development practices, performance, and maintainability.
-   Contribute to technical problem-solving and the design of practical, scalable solutions.
-   Must be based in Latam.

## Requirements

-   **8+ years of professional software development experience.**
-   Strong experience developing software products in a **product development environment**.
-   Strong backend development experience with **.NET / C#**.
-   Strong hands-on experience with **React**.
-   Strong knowledge of **JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3**.
-   Experience developing and consuming **RESTful APIs**.
-   Strong **SQL** and database development experience.
-   Experience with **JSON** and **XML** data structures.
-   Experience with distributed architectures and asynchronous request handling.
-   Strong understanding of software design patterns and modern software architecture.
-   Experience with patterns such as **MVC and MVVM**.
-   Experience writing and maintaining unit tests for your own code.
-   Strong understanding of software quality, maintainability, and development best practices.
-   Experience with **Git or SVN**.
-   Experience with browser-based and responsive web applications.
-   Practical experience with **AI technologies**, including **Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and/or Machine Learning**.
-   Experience using **Claude Code**, including AI-assisted development and code review workflows.
-   Strong technical documentation and written communication skills.
-   Analytical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.

**Nice to have**

-   5+ years of experience as a project lead or team lead in software development.
-   Experience mentoring or leading development teams.
-   Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
-   Experience developing software for regulated or highly controlled environments.
-   Experience creating customer-facing software installation packages.
